| This picture was done with a mechanical pencil on computer paper, as was the custom in my younger days. It was drawn off the cover of disc 1 of Strait Out of the Box, a CD that I have worn out! George Strait is posing in Gruene Hall, the oldest dancehall in Texas, looking like he owns the place. Although some proportions are messed up and the quality of work isn't as good as what I can do today, this is still one of my favorite drawings. I guess it's just because it's George Strait. I think if he ever ran for governor of Texas, he just might win. |
